Thanks, Korea. xoxo

Things I want to thank Korea for:
- norebangs -->
- punch machines
- the best food in the world
- cheap taxis and great public transportation
- no tipping!
- hot, hairless boys
- SOJU and no curfews
- cute stationary
- cheap heels
- the cutest kids ever
- physical comedy
- learning how much you can actually DO in a day - when your mom plans it all for you
- "respect" for your elders

Things I hate Korea for:

- no city planning
- the worst skin and scars of my life
- crazy christians - physical comedy
- hot, hairless girls...with less than 4% body fat
- undeserved cockiness
- cutting, bumping, pushing
- ajummas...and the prospect of becoming one
- SOJU and no curfews...

welcome, zara

Zara finally comes to Korea! What was too expensive (well really, what WASN'T) when I was living in Montreal, working at URBAN; and then not exclusive enough for me when I was living in France, has now given me new shoe inspiration in Korea...
Sexy, unique, far more durable than 10$ standard Korean fair...
Sometimes all you need for a confidence boost is 10cm of gorgeous~

...worst name for a blog ever?

Don't just talk about it, be about it. At 29, I find myself doing too much talking and not enough acting. (as is evident by my current lack of bicycle...) Inconsistency is probably the only thing that remains consistant in my life... While I'm at least 5 years too late to get on the whole blog bandwagon, I've been through Diaryland, Myspace, cyworld, and now Facebook. All those deep thoughts and not-so-deep photos that only 20-somethings can have are now lost out there in cyberspace. Hopefully this is the one that will stick.
So, with my newfound determination (to drink less soju) fuelling me, I find myself with some time on my hands. Logically, while being about my day-to-day in Asia, this little production should also be about the things I love - which, in this moment in time, is Korea and clothes. As superficial or shallow as some may view them - these are them it. So, although it may conjure some rather unpleasant mental imagery, I humbly begin Kimchi and Shoes...
